Adventive gathers two types of information about our website’s users:
- Personal information that users provide directly to us through optional, voluntary submissions, such as email, survey information, and online registration forms. Personal information means any information that may be used to identify an individual, including, but not limited to, your name, mailing address, company name, telephone number, e-mail address, credit card information (such as the credit card number, card verification value, and the billing address), and other information and details of transactions users carry out through our website. The types and amount of personal information collected for these activities will vary depending on the activity.
- Non-personal information gathered through aggregated tracking information derived mainly by automatically tallying page views throughout our sites. The non-personal information we collect includes, without limitation, click-throughs, IP addresses, usage data, and information collected through cookies, web beacons and other tracking technologies. Use of this non-personal information allows us to better tailor our content to site users’ needs.
We track product usage data and user traffic patterns throughout our site as users navigate through and interact with our website, which we use to improve the content of our web pages and the quality of our service. In addition, we track click-through information, including IP addresses, to our site from the reports and emails we send to our customers. This is done to gauge the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns and to discourage fraudulent use. The technologies we use for this automatic data collection may include cookies (or browser cookies), flash cookies, or web beacons.
Certain features of our website may use local stored objects (or flash cookies) to collect and store information about your preferences and navigation to, from and on our website. Flash cookies are not managed by the same browser settings as are used for browser cookies. For information about managing your privacy and security settings for flash cookies see Choices about How We Use and Disclose Your Information below.
Pages of our website, and any e-mails we send, may contain small electronic files known as web beacons (also referred to as clear gifs. pixel tags and single-pixel gifs) that permit us, for example, to count users who have visited those pages, or opened an e-mail, and for other related website statistics (for example, recording the popularity of certain website content and verifying system and server integrity).
Our website is not intended for children under 13 years of age. Consistent with the federal Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (COPPA), we will never knowingly request personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13 without requiring parental consent.
